Ideas into Action- It’s What We Do!
Financial Publishing Group, Taipan, came to us wanting a unique holiday gift with a perceived value of $40. They wanted something that would be visible all year long, possibly something for an office desk. After providing a dozen ideas the client decided on a leather desk organizer debossed with the company logo on the top. The desk organizer had a window on the top lid to be used for a personal photo. We had the idea to utilize this space with a personalized holiday greeting card. There is also a pocket on the inside lid that we suggested inserting their business card- keeping their contact information close at hand . A slot in the organizer was the ideal spot to put an engraved pen branded with their company logo.
Taipan was concerned with how they were going to distribute the gifts to their clients. We let them know that MutiGraphic Marketing has fulfillment capabilities to manage this project from start to finish. They would provide us with a spreadsheet mailing list. We would provide the packaging to ship the desk organizer in the most economical and expedient method. MultiGraphic would create branded labels to be affixed to the outside of the bubble mailer. We followed up our ideas by putting a proposal together detailing the costs for the desk organizer, pen, holiday greeting, business cards, assembly of the gift and mailing cost.
Even with months of advanced planning, until all approvals were in for the project, we had a very limited time frame to get everything ordered, delivered, assembled and mailed. Gifts arrived in customer’s mail boxes on time and in budget.
What started out as a simple holiday gift for 2500 customers turned into a great multi-channel marketing campaign coming in under their $20 per piece budget.
